Stiletto One Skein Project - Knit

This is a fun project: the free pattern can be found here:

F373 Stiletto Side to Side Drop Stitch Scarf
 by Plymouth Yarn Design Studio

I'm trying to use my stash this year. I had one skein of Stiletto yarn left from 2012, Colorway 300 is now discontinued, but any color of Stiletto yarn will work well. The pattern is easy to memorize and the yarn is a delight to work with. I'm using circular needles, size 6, but straight needles work, too.

Moonlight Sonata Yarn Meets Crochet

I'm disappointed in the lack of information using Moonlight Sonata Yarn for crochet projects. Take any crochet lace project and use Moonlight Sonata yarn for a beautiful effect!

Crochet Socks

I decided to crochet a pair of socks to see if they're as comfortable as knit socks. Here is what I started with. The socks are completed, and...YAY! They are very comfortable!!

Fun Party Scarf

I had so much fun making this party scarf with Premier Spangle yarn. I made a silver one, too.

Swifter & Winder

I'm getting ready to start crocheting a new swing jacket. I ordered 10 hanks of yarn (which have not yet arrived), but broke out in a sweat thinking about winding all those hanks into a ball. So...I bought a swifter and yarn winder. Reluctantly, I opened the box and followed the instructions. I got the yarn on the swifter (whew!).
Nervously, I started winding...
VOILA! It took about 17 seconds.
I can't wait for my yarn to be delivered. I feel really good about myself today. :)

Flapper Hat

The flower motif on this hat doesn't show as well as I'd like, so I'm going to experiment with other yarns. Or maybe I'll add a cute button.

Drop Stitch Crochet

I love new techniques and I also love Kim Guzman's designs. I had problems reading one of her patterns published in a magazine one time so I emailed her. I heard back from her with instructions within the hour. She's a lovely lady. Please check out her blog at the link below and see some of her gorgeous creations using the Drop Stitch Crochet technique. I can't wait to try it!
